Dr. Bistransin developed a passion for direct patient care during her ambulatory rotations as a pharmacy student. After completing her doctorate of pharmacy at UNT System College of Pharmacy, she went on to purse both a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas and a PGY2 ambulatory care pharmacy residency at Parkland Health & Hospital System. Upon graduating her residency program, she has worked as a clinical pharmacy specialist within the Homeless Outreach Medical Services (HOMES) department at Parkland. Her clinical interests include managing complex chronic disease states, homeless care, HIV prevention, and sexual health education.
