  3. Participants will learn outreach methods that have been successful at their site

PLENARY: Cultural Humility 
This presentation will provide an overview of Cultural Humility and the four pillars that will impact service delivery:
Pillar 1.  A lifelong process of critical self-reflection and self-critique. 
Pillar 2. Redressing power imbalances in the patient-provider dynamic
Pillar 3.  Developing mutually beneficial partnerships with communities on behalf of individuals and defined populations.
Pillar 4. Advocating and maintaining institutional accountability that parallels the three principles above. 

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will identify and define four cultural humility pillars that will impact service delivery.
  2. Participants will gain ongoing awareness of and critique their cultural lens, biases, power, privileges, and identities on a macro and micro level. 
  3. Participants will recognize the provider/client relationship that occurs within the community’s context, which includes its history, politics, economic.

Implementation Manual
This session will serve as a preview for the Implementation Manual Technical Assistance (TA) webinar taking place after the February convening. Participants are encouraged to use the tips and resources provided during this session to begin the manual writing process. 
 
Learning Objectives:

  1. Explain the importance and role of implementation manuals as tools for advancing HIV care and treatment for Black women with HIV 
  2. Discuss strategic tips for starting the manual writing process including general pitfalls to avoid
  3. Locate existing manuals from other SPNS initiatives and highlight what's working in well executed manuals

Program Sustainability

Attendees will learn the benefits of engaging in sustainability discussions within their organization, describe the assessment, how organizations can use the results from their individualized assessment to pull together a working group to plan the sustainment of their program.

  2. Participants will discuss the importance of sustaining their programs and engaging leadership at their organizations in the process
  3. Participants will learn how to measure sustainability of their programs, i.e., Program Sustainability Assessment Tool (PSAT)

New Nickels (documentary screening)
New Nickels, the documentary, highlights five black women living with HIV in the south; and follows their journey as they navigate stigma, find community and acceptance. 
  
The New Nickels documentary will be screened and introduced to the attendees by Iman Shervington, Director and Producer of the film. 

Learning Objectives:

1.    Hear from the creator of the film, Iman Shervington, what inspired the project and why it was essential to highlight the voices of black women with HIV

2.    Participants will learn from women in the documentary who shared what led them to emerge from the shadows, find community and self-love

3.    Discuss cultural relevancies and differences for Black women who are from the Caribbean or African countries in comparison to the south
