Winter 2021 E2i Subawardee Virtual Learning Session

AGENDA

Winter Learning Session 2021 (WLS '21) Objectives:

  • Strengthen learning communities within and among the E2i cohort as a source of continued support beyond the initiative
  • Highlight key best practices and lessons learned, including successes and failures, from subawardees’ implementation experiences
  • Examine whether and how subawardees plan to integrate their E2i intervention into their service delivery post-E2i
  • Explore impact of COVID-19 on delivery of client services and optimizing re-engagement during the pandemic to share strategies for recovery and resumption of service provision
  • Understand and operationalize the E2i grants management closeout process

11:30 am - 12:30 pm PLENARY SESSION: Ongoing Response and Adaptations to the Evolving COVID-19 Pandemic
Subawardees will provide brief presentations that will address the work they have completed during the initiative. Four subawardees, one per E2i focus area, will participate in a facilitated dialogue to share their ongoing experience adapting and responding to COVID-19.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Subawardees will share strategies their organizations have implemented thus far to address the pandemic while maintaining quality HIV services

E2i Implementation Guide Review
The E2i CCTA Curriculum Team will lead focus groups to gather feedback on the E2i implementation guide (IG) components.


Learning Objectives:

  1. Subawardees will understand how the various elements of the toolkit complement each other and support dissemination activities

Discussion Questions:

  • How well do you think the IGs cover the main points of the interventions? What is missing that should be added, include anything even if it seems minor?
  • What kind of advice would you offer to future sites to make the IGs more useful for implementing your intervention? What do you know now that you wish you knew then? Please address both pre-planning and implementation delivery.
  • We really need your input on dissemination so that these guides reach as many people as possible working in CBOs and clinics. What do you suggest?
  • What features would you like to see on the website for the e2i interventions?

The EC will present an overview of the intervention exposure and organizational assessment data for both the Behavioral Health and Black MSM cohorts.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Subawardees will understand how organizational readiness, and Behavioral Health and Black MSM focus area interventions, affect patient outcomes through preliminary analysis of the evaluation data.

  2. Subawardees will discuss their peers’ presentations to explore their E2i experience, including challenges, successes, integration/sustainability and overall intervention impact.
