FAQ's
Will we have COVID Protocol this year for ASR?
- Yes! We will follow the guidelines for In-person visits outlined in our most recent Immunization Policy Procedure here
Will masks be required? No!
- There is a reality that many people will not be masked (based on what we've seen informally). So be prepared for that.
- While not mandatory, indoor masking is recommended to reduce the risk of spreading the virus that causes COVID-19
- If you've received an exemption from vaccination, you will have to mask indoors. This is and should be treated as classified health information, so no one can or should ask!
- For staff or visitors who are unvaccinated or whose vaccination status is unknown, masking is required in all spaces – this includes eating and drinking
Is testing before the meeting required?
- For staff or visitors who are unvaccinated or whose vaccination status is unknown, a COVID-19 test with a negative result must be administered not more than 72 hours before entering an ETR space/event - reasonable evidence of the negative result must be uploaded to the Immunization and Testing Reporting & Exemption Request Submission Form here
What happens if I get COVID during ASR?
- On the day of the visit, each staff and visitor invited by staff should visit the CDC COVID-19 Facility Access Tool and answer each question for themselves. This tool was designed for use by CDC for its facilities. ETR will use the result of the tool to govern admittance at ETR facilities.
- We encourage staff to maintain appropriate hygiene and distance; if you begin to experience COVID-like symptoms, please do not attend and contact your immediate supervisor and HR as soon as possible
- While ETR will support staff in all the ways we can, it is important to note that in person participating involves risk and every individual must assume personal responsibility. Please be advised that ETR will not assume responsibility if any employees attending ASR contracts COVID, the flu or RSV or any other illness.
The deadline to submit your registration is no later than January 31, 2023
