Educational Need and Virtual Symposium

The 2025 Ending the HIV Epidemic target for Preexposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) coverage among those at risk is 50%. Based on 2020 CDC data, we are only half-way to this goal (24.7%). Furthermore significant disparities persist with PrEP use by gender, race/ethnicity, and region of the country – particularly the US South.

Led by an interprofessional faculty of clinicians who are actively involved in teams providing PrEP, this free curriculum of more than 20 hours of on-demand CME/CNE/CPE-accredited activities will focus on PrEP as an HIV prevention strategy and share best practices for utilizing PrEP with at-risk patients as well as guidance on how to establish a successful PrEP clinic/service. Whatever your level of expertise, this curriculum will help you grow in confidence about expanding PrEP services for the populations you serve.
