Focused on the TGNC community with components of exercise and nutrition, key information
on trans bodies such as non-conforming workouts and dysphoria, rehab and hormones,
and what to do as we age.

 

Communications - Telling Your Story Breakout Session

The real final goal of this "Workshop" is to hang out and to talk a bit about what storytelling is,
why is it so important for our community to keep our stories alive and to give our narratives
the power they deserve!

 

Coalition Building Breakout Session

Audience will learn how to build a coalition with autonomy and safety for TGNC people
find best practices in changing the blueprint for coalition-building towards success.

Grantwriting - Knowledge=Power: Demystifying Philanthropy for Trans Leaders Breakout Session

Attendees will hear tips and basic information on writing a successful grant proposal.
This session is designed for people early in their grant writing experience but we welcome everyone.
Come learn in a safe and affirming environment where no questions are bad questions.

 

TRANScending Evaluation 101 Breakout Session

TRANScending Evaluation 101: New Ways to Document and Learn (on a Budget)" is a 45 minute
breakout session for organizations interested in learning what program evaluation is (and isn't).
Somjen Frazer of Strength in Numbers will present some tips and tricks for organizations new to
program evaluation in general with a short discussion of how to collect data for TRANScend in particular.
There will be plenty of time to discuss your specific questions and concerns; those who have not attended
a presentation from Strength in Numbers before will gain the most from attending this session as those
who have worked with us before may find some material repetitive.
